Adrienne and I were able to sneak away tis evening for what you might call a date. Thanks to Grandma Carol we had a couple hours at a local coffeeshop, replete with food, beverage, and music. We needed a bit of time to peruse the menu, so our barista placed a small toy for us […]
Book Four
I can’t say why it took me so long to secure this final book in the Wingfeather Saga, but now that I have it … never mind … time to start reading.
Playground Time
Playground time with daddy this morning so mommy can have some time to tend to the house. Get out and play a little this weekend. It’ll do your heart good!
Ungated
I think I’ve said it before – I need to walk around the city more often. Love these tucked away places. This is someone’s life.
Rudolphs
A small break from the day. Lunch at Rudolphs with the grandpas.
Nuts
Finished the job earlier this evening. Hoping these nuts weren’t too important. A trip home and Adrienne’s trip to the store and all seems to be well, thus far. I do need to replace the hose that runs to the overflow reservoir.
Radiators
Hoping this will remedy the overheating issue that’s been plaguing us.
Tears
There is a music born of tears. There is a joy sprung from sorrow.
End of Softball Season
Two exciting wins to end the softball season last night. And, this happened. :/ I took a header into the ground when trying to avoid a tag at 2nd on a sloppy field.
Indiana Bound
The long road home. This was shortly after taking to the road. It’s a hot one. Running with the heat on for a moment now and then to keep our engine cool. Look forward to time with family!
Fwop Fwips
“I wearing mommy’s fwop fwips.”
Celebrating Clatie
Such a joy to join Clay & Catie in celebration of their recent marriage. It has been years since we’ve seen one another. Introduced them to the family, enjoyed some musical offerings from Catie’s family, partook of some home brew, and planned for more gatherings when they visit again. Love my teammates!
Sioux Lookout to Cat Lake
All is well. God is good. After arriving we’ve been able to meet a number of folks and settled into our homes for the week. Some strong winds and rain came through early evening. Was able to sit near the lakeside this afternoon. Hope I can find some more time alone to finish this song.
Longfellow Fellowship
It was a beautiful evening in the Cities. A small group of us gathered in the Longfellow neighborhood for fellowship – singing a few songs and praying for the Stefan family, our community, and other concerns. No worries if you had hoped to come and missed it. We are looking for more gatherings to come. […]
